Reseña del libro

God's Mirror is a historical sci-fi fantasy story where a young woman finds herself teleported to 19th century England, during the time of the Napoleonic Wars. Melanie Jacinta Barrett struggles to survive in this strange primitive world, her memories of life in the 20th century seeming more and more like a fantastic dream. After helping a young woman who was attacked by thugs, she is taken to Blythe Manor by the girl's foster father. As she recovers from her wounds, she befriends the young woman, Sarah, and finds a place for herself at Blythe Manor. It is not long however before strange things start to happen in and around the Manor, including an alien voice that speaks in Mel's head, the rescue of a beautiful young woman from a violent stage coach robbery, and reports of a large grey creature roaming the woods at night. And then there is Sarah and her foster father Raphael, who both seem to be hiding something from her. As their secret starts to unravel, and Raphael finds that his past is catching up to him, Mel must fight to protect her new family.
