Reseña del libro

Muldoon is a wanderer. This makes it quite difficult for him to write his book. Or hold down a job...or a relationship. Muldoon finds himself in 1956 Paris, where his love of the city's endless temptations continues to tear him away from his typewriter. The book that is slowly coming to fruition tells the tales of his delinquent adventures with his best buddy, Mick, when they were carefree runaways, hitchhikers, sailors, troublemakers, and juvenile detention residents. Over the years Muldoon has survived a hurricane, a shot from a Kentucky Hillbilly's rifle, and a professional boxing match, yet Paris proves to be a formidable adversary. It takes all of his resourcefulness and determination to manage his day job teaching high school; his pursuit of the stunning, Spanish Maria (in spite of her militantly protective friend); and to keep the typewriter from collecting dust by finishing his tales of the glory days. This biographical memoir is one man's lighthearted journey of self-discovery that globe-trotters and armchair travelers will appreciate, and most everyone else will enjoy. Because the truth is, no matter where we are in the world, we can find a bit of Muldoon inside each of us.
