Reseña del libro

The objectives of the first manned mission to Mars were straightforward. Astronauts Captain Arlen Chatsworth, engineer Skylar Trenton, and communication officer Myra Lonsdale, MD were to bring back several hundred pounds of surface soil and rubble for research. But when they located a weathered and aged man-made sign on the red planet, the mission changed. Upon their successful return to earth, two of the astronauts set out on an undercover mission of their own to find the answer to a secret that had been kept for over seventy-five years. As their search leads them to a medical clinic in a South American jungle, they cross paths with dangerous men on their own mission, and an aged explorer from another time. Have they come in time to solve the enigma of the weathered relic from Mars? Or will their lives end in the jungle at the hands of Nazis bent on national glory?
