Please BE AWARE. This book is no ordinary read, for it serves as the textbook for a pair of advanced 'film & philosophy' courses whose main objective involves advancement of the human condition and utilization of cannabis as a catalyst in that process. Thus this book is intended for a very intelligent and highly multidisciplinary audience of which you may or may not wish to be a part. The choice is yours. Is this book for you? Are you smart and curious? Do you like to learn? Do you care deeply for the health of the Earth and humanity? Are you a big fan or lover of movies? Are you a cannabis consumer, or at least cannabis curious? Do you wish to exercise and improve your mind, body, and spirit? Do you like to solve problems, investigate mysteries, or put together puzzles? Do you like little stories involving history, fantasy, and imagination? If you can answer with a resounding yes to one or more of the above questions, you may very well enjoy this book or at least find a modicum of stimulation and benefit within its pages. That said, another CAUTION before continuing. While this book hopes to edify and entertain, that is not its primary intent. Dig? As for those who may read this book without taking its companion courses, a third ALERT. A complete following of this exploration entails not just reading this text, but also watching its main course of movies, as well as completing its primary assignment, which boils down to a little journaling and answering a few questions. Failure to do this misses the point of the book and cheats one's self of the full experience and oppor
