Kaylea is a seemingly ordinary high school girl whose main concerns are spending time with her best friend and convincing her mom not to make her go to art camp over the summer. However, after a disturbing dream foreshadows an encounter with a menacing stranger, Kaylea finds herself thrust into a strange world filled with magic and the unknown. She is faced with darkness and danger and the discovery that she is not as ordinary as she would have thought. In fact, the fate of the world she is now in might very well rest in her hands.
