Bodybuilding is a type of sport generally based on intense physical exercise, usually anaerobic, consisting mostly in weight lifting, which is usually performed in gyms, and whose purpose is to obtain a body as symmetrical, defined, bulky and muscularly proportionate as possible.This sport requires: discipline, sacrifice and perseverance; that is why both sports training and complementary training must go hand in hand, if symmetrical muscle development and lean muscles are to be achieved.Bodybuilding training should not be carried out in an empirical manner; it should follow an organized, methodical, systemic and scientifically based process, in such a way that short and long term objectives are rationally integrated to determine an effective training and achieve an optimal development of sports performance.The sports practice should be carried out with a training plan developed and supervised by a professional, with the setting of clear objectives and goals to be met, so that optimal results can be obtained without endangering the health of the bodybuilder.
