Savior of San Francisco, A Tale of the Christ-an extraordinary mixture of city history and sacred scripture-ponders what could occur were the Christ Jesus to appear and traverse the grievous streets of San Francisco in contemporary times. A nightmarish hellscape of human suffering and misery across which abruptly rambles the promised Messiah. What becomes crystal-clear as the Christ wanders the land, the pervading problem plaguing the city is pure, unadulterated greed. And that the simplest, most forthright solution is pure and gracious giving. The sole solution that, contrary to its hyper-pretensions to all-accepting and non-discriminating inclusion, this mostly atheistic city has neglected to try. This tale of faith and hope, a love letter to numerous of those dearly beloved parts of the city well worth saving, speculates ultimately how the teachings of the Christ might directly impact the city's most critical and compelling challenges.
