Do The Write Thing of DC and Red Sprinkle Fashion Boot Camp engaged Hart Middle School students in a violence prevention program that included poetry writing workshops. The students wrote original poems (in free verse) to promote peace along with peace haikus after studying the work of Sonia Sanchez.
