My name is Daniel LeEarl Hall. I spent 50 years in the Watchtower Society as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, serving as an elder and Presiding Overseer, which is comparable to Senior Pastor in a Christian church. In 1973 I formed a company that made me well-known in the sect, and provided employment for over 1600 Jehovah's Witnesses throughout the United States and in ten foreign countries. My search for fulfillment led me to religious prominence, business success, financial and material wealth, and other obsessions, none of which filled the ever-growing void in my life. My real life experiences provide insight into the depths of bondage of life in a religious cult and proof that God is active in this day, effecting change in the lives of those who truly wish to know the God who is "The Truth" and to have a personal relationship with Him.
