This document is a Master's thesis titled ""The Impact of the General Board of the Navy on Interwar Submarine Design"" by LCDR Jeffrey K. Juergens. The thesis examines the role of the General Board of the Navy in shaping submarine design between World War One and World War Two. It analyzes improvements in submarine offensive armament, propulsion, endurance, and habitability using transcripts of the General Board's meetings.
