Why am I writing this book? to change our perception about the law,sin and death and to open or awaken us to the gift of life and how to live it in its abundance. For us to understand the gospel and be able to disciple the world, we need to have an *accurate knowledge* of 3 facts-1). Redemption, 2). Salvation and 3). Godliness. #Redemption is the solution to the spiritual problem of humans, the unblocking of the way to life and immortality while #salvation is the solution to the physical problem, humans taking responsibility to live life in its abundance, and that problem can only be solved in the mind because it is the mind of humans that is desperately wicked, the reason we have to work out our salvation, renew our mind with the knowledge of truth, dealing with our ignorance regarding life, changing our attitude towards life and the #proof of salvation is #godliness and an exalted nations. -understanding redemption. "And if Christ has not been raised, then your faith is useless and you are still guilty of your sins."(1 Corinthians 15:17 NLT)From the above scripture we understand that it was the actions of Christ on the cross and resurrection that dealt with the issue of *sin* not our faith. A group of people mentioned in the book of Hebrews had faith but that scripture concluded that they all died without receiving the promise. The scripture below paints a picture of redemption--"Because God's children are human beings-made of flesh and blood-the Son also became flesh and blood. For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he #set #free #all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying."Hebrews 2:14-15 NLT-working out salvation Salvation is not a reward for our good deeds it is a gift!Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is #working #in #you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him."Philippians 2:12-13 NLTIt is impossible to work out a salvation you are searching for - you #must #have #it to work it out-living a godly life Salvation will not solve your greed problem-mind renewal, changing your attitude towards materialism will. The Lord is your shepherd he lead you beside still waters lead you to greener pastures will never leave you nor forsake but you must deal with your problem of want- I shall not want. If everyone in the world believes the gospel and refuse to renew their mind with the knowledge of truth and unlearn falsehood the world will not change for the best. Salvation doesn't bestow godliness on a believer -godliness is #taught through the knowledge of truth. "This letter is from Paul, a slave of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ. I have been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives. This truth gives them confidence that they have eternal life, which God-who does not lie-promised them before the world began."(Titus 1:1-2 NLT)The *proof* of a #renewed #mind or a change in attitude towards materialism, is an exalted nation-righteousness exalt a nation. Redemption is through truth, salvation is in truth and godliness is living the life of truth on earth.KINGDOM TALK.
