So later, maybe within an hour, Patrizia would bend down and try to steal a telephone from the bag placed on the floor on the side of her just to get by the next month. The airplane pilots did not look that much out of the window in ordinary airplanes, and the luggage was normally not stored at the front of the airplane as in this story. Nor did the company stewardesses wear dots on their neckerchiefs. "35 KILOS" is Aaness' second book after the highly priced "Happy Belated Birthday." Aaness is pushing her love for Paul Auster in this strangely composed short story that takes place in an airport, asking, "How are the passengers connected, what stories do they carry, and what actions and relations impact and protect them?"
