Frank Rose has a knack for finding trouble, and sometimes trouble finds him. This time, Frank is asked to travel from southern India to Amsterdam to find a missing young Indian man. His quest brings him into conflict with lethal criminals on two continents, where he once again risks his life to find justice. This is the fourth novel in the Frank Rose series, which began with Frank moving to Malaysia with his new wife to teach at an international school (Chasing Palm Trees.). Although his marriage did not last, Frank's life of adventures in Asia were about to begin. After his divorce, Frank travels to Thailand where he is one of seven young travelers kidnapped by a terrorist group, detailed in Captive in Paradise. The third novel in the series, The Taj Malabar Murders, finds Frank framed for murder. He must avoid arrest and keep out of the hands of a radical Hindu group that wants him dead. A Death in Amsterdam begins in Kerala, where Frank has lived for many years, and moves to Amsterdam. Once again, Frank's life is on the line as he seeks justice for the missing young Indian.
