At the same time he is becoming increasingly attracted to Calmsden, the fashion editor of a glossy magazine with whom his best friend Willy Fleming has also fallen hopelessly in love. Meanwhile, the manipulative Bryan Barton Kinnerton is looking for ways to make trouble on and off the lawns.
