For more than thirty-five years my professional work has been carried out mainly in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as, to a lesser extent, in Andalusia, the Basque Country and the Valencian Community, always linked to the promotion of Economic Development initiatives Local and Territorial Development, which includes action research, teaching and capacity building in these areas. At present I try to expose how the Territorial Development approach should be politically involved in global actions for a more viable, supportive and environmentally sustainable world. In this book I have tried to gather several articles from my professional career on these topics that, as you will see, allow me to show my most heartfelt experiences, feelings and memories and with this I also try, modestly, to join the critical arguments and the social movements that have arisen. against the financial, economic, social and environmental crisis, in order to try to make some of our dreams come true.
