The collection is divided into sections, which are preceded by the words, A Time For....Family, Friends, Dancin', Living Life, Soul Searching, This 'n That, and Givin' and Receivin'. Prose, functioning as reasons, describes the purpose of the section and/or the circumstances under which the poet set the theme for his/her topic. There is a gamut of emotions found in this collection-some happy, some sad, some tender, some humorous.
