Danny Meyer, nacido el 14 de marzo de 1958 en San Luis, Misuri, es un renombrado restaurador estadounidense y fundador del Union Square Hospitality Group. En 1985, a los 27 años, inauguró su primer restaurante, Union Square Cafe, en Nueva York, marcando el inicio de una destacada carrera en la industria de la hospitalidad.

Además de su éxito en la restauración, Meyer ha incursionado en la escritura culinaria. Es coautor de "The Union Square Cafe Cookbook" (1994) y "Second Helpings from Union Square Cafe" (2001), ambos en el género de libros de cocina. También es autor de "Setting the Table" (2006), una obra que explora el poder de la hospitalidad en los negocios y la vida.
