As it follows a single father Isaiah and his daughter Rebeca as they fight to survive, and help save the world from the flood of darkness. Isaiah is looking forward to a relaxing weekend with his daughter, Rebeca, when the power goes out. He thinks nothing of it at first. Little does he know that mysterious creatures are setting off a series of violent massacres all over the world. It's the beginning of the end. As the harsh realities of their violent new world sink in, Isaiah is determined to keep Rebeca safe. The Guardians have the knowledge of the mysterious and violent creatures that were once humans, but are now corrupted by this powerful evil. Even with the Guardians' fabulous powers, they have no hope of defeating them alone. It will take humanity, united, to truly pose a threat to the darkness that is slowly taking over the world.
