Advanced Control Strategies for Distributed Energy Resources in DC Microgrids: Techniques and Implementation (en Inglés) - Yajie Jiang

This book presents some advanced control technologies for distributed energy resources in DC microgrids, which is a hot research topic since it has better carbon footprint reduction performance than the AC counterpart. To meet the carbon neutralization in 2050, distributions of DC microgrids in power networks seem to be an effective solution as distributed energy resources. To ensure stability and optimal performance, such as power loss minimization and robustness against cyber-attacks, advanced control strategies are needed for distributed energy resources. This book proposes various hierarchical control schemes by providing analysis and equations of control, topologies of power converters, simulation case studies, and some practical results based on the prototypes in the lab. This book presents the implementation of control schemes in hardware and practical waveforms providing readers a comprehensive understanding of control designs for distributed energy resources (e.g., battery storage systems) in DC microgrids, from theory to practical implementation. This book offers a systematic control design guideline for research students, academia, and engineers.
