All Over The Damn Place is a book of poetry from the Author Robert Benefiel. It was written in the course of a week in response to two different conversations on the difficulty and ease of writing poetry. For such a short duration of writing time, the topics greatly vary from childhood nostalgia to adult realities, using random memories and insights to formulate the core of this edition of poetry. From the beginning of the book we get the sense of someone returning home from a long journey, until we get to the end of the book in which the author realizes we are all someone who disappeared to someone else. While there is a sense of a start and end to this book, there is also the simultaneousness of jumping around from subject to subject, as if in the head of a daydreamer simply musing over ideas and memories. Whether you choose to view these poems from the inside of the authors viewpoint, or the outside, All Over The Damn Place will certainly allow you enough room to make your own opinion.
