Maxwell "Max" Inkblot and his wife Milly are headed to Amsterdam for a weekend of music, mischief, and mind-bending adventures. Their friends' band, The Rollers; Spliff on vocals, Munchies on guitar, Rex on bass, and the wild Dutchess on drums, are ready to rock the city, but Max and Milly have one mission: survive the trip, the coffee shops, and Max's chemically-enhanced brain.

From airport chaos to plane turbulence, hash cookies, and psychedelic flights of fancy, the couple dives headfirst into Amsterdam's neon-lit streets, smoking, laughing, and questioning reality. Nights dissolve into glittering gigs and afterparties where Max pops a mysterious blue pill and finds himself conversing with a ghostly Jim Morrison.
