What we do in this century will decide either the long term viability of this planet in supporting all forms of life or the slow but inevitable journey over the cliff of disaster. This book is the perspective of a physician, who in the pursuit of truth sees human beings as members of a single species with a common origin, a shared interrelated existence, and a common destiny. This book is written as a plea. It is a call for nations across the world to come together to stop the ruinous course that we have taken, and help nurture this planet into a beautiful home for all humans and all life forms for millions of years into the future.
