She left the hills for the City of Kingston where she formally began her profession (teaching) at Pembroke Hall Secondary School. As she continued her education later on, she embarked in undergraduate studies at the University of Miami and graduate studies at Antioch Christian University. Often times after major accomplishments there tends to be a lull that was not the case for Violet. She has been 'empowered to 'empower' with experience to propel her to the next stage of the journey. She is full of optimism and gratitude ready to tell the world of her encounter with cancer; not just healed but cured. Violet was challenged but full of hope knowing that God can use the pain of cancer for His glory.
