Reseña del libro "An Hour to Kill: (Revised) (en Inglés)"

This book is inspired by all readers and was written as an eclectic arrangement of short stories that can be read in (about) an hour's time, depending on your own reading style. This is a work of fiction. I have taken vague and indiscriminate excerpts from my life to recreate imaginary 'what if' scenarios. The characters in these stores are fictional and any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. You have to believe me on that, otherwise, it could drive some people crazy looking for clues that could somehow turn a fictional work into a factual representation. Let it go, okay? SAMPLE: Today, I would not see many tourists, happy or sad ones, because Ted was coming with me and he was no longer allowed on the public beaches. It was okay by me, because, although I admit how much I love all the beautiful people of the west coast scene, I prefer Ted over them all and if I was going to spend this day with anyone, it was going to be with Ted, my Lhasa Apso - and, Kathy, if she could make it.I pulled the A-4 into a parking spot, slid my credit card in and out of the parking meter, then popped the trunk and retrieved the cooler and umbrella. With my spare fingers, I grabbed Ted's leash. Walking around to the passenger side of the car, I sat the cooler down, opened the door for Ted and pushed the leash up over his floppy ears. He was so excited that he jumped out of the car and the leash came out of my hand. That didn't matter, because Ted hadn't left my side in fifteen years and he wasn't running away today, even though the two seagulls flying overhead tempted him to fly up and snatch them from the sky. He was too old to fly, even if he could, and, like me, he was too set in his ways to do anything about flying birds, except to bid them a good morning bark.
