Marcela Serrano (1951) es una escritora chilena reconocida por sus novelas de corte feminista y social, donde explora la vida de las mujeres, la política y la identidad. Su primera novela, Nosotras que nos queremos tanto (1991), fue un éxito y la consolidó como una de las autoras más destacadas de la literatura latinoamericana contemporánea. Otras de sus obras más importantes incluyen Para que no me olvides (1993), Antigua vida mía (1995) y El albergue de las mujeres tristes (1997), todas con un fuerte enfoque en la psicología femenina y las relaciones humanas.
