Reseña del libro "Ashram System: Ashram Vyavastha (en Inglés)"

Ashram System (Vyavastha): The word a + labor means not burdened with labor in life. In that view, our life is an ashram. The main aim of human life is to become the best and the best. Planning his life span for that ashram system. Just as success is achieved through planning in every area of life, any person can become the best and the best if he organizes his time. The word Ashram means blissful life while performing our duties at every stage (burdenless life). In that sense, our life is an ashram. The main aim of human life is to reach the best(highest) possible level of development and fulfillment. Ashram arrangement helps one in planning to achieve that(the) aim.Just as one can be successful in each field of materialistic world by proper planning, similarly one can succeed in life, if he plans his lifespan properly in spiritual world as well. Due to a lack of spiritual education, money, power and prestige have become goals for the majority of people. This can be considered a success but it brings anxiety, stress and even depression, but life is said to be meaningful only when one accomplishes what is required of him.(mox) Scriptures proclaim that a human being has to perform in four fields four purusharth namely: Dharm, Arth, Kaam and Moksha. Ancient rushis lived in peace and performed extensive penance. They realized the importance of Ashrams and gave man the key to live happily for hundred years by doing(performing) karma. They have proposed life to be divided into four stages .: These are four ashrams. From the time of birth to the time one gains capability to earn a living, thereby learning to have a fulfilled life- a period of about one to twenty-five years from birth is Brahmcharyashram.During this stage, one gets basic education in both materialistic and spiritual fields, competence in selected skills and necessary physical abilities. After the stage of Brahmacharyashram, one takes responsibility for the spouse and children and other family members, making arrangements for sustenance and providing for the future of all family members. This duration, up to a lifespan of about fifty-sixty years is Gruhasthashram. To reach the ultimate goal of life, to merge with the manifested form of Paramatma, by performing public service, giving time for its organizational work to run for a lifetime, a duration of life up to 75 years is Vanprasthashram. Finally to cultivate a state of mind to merge into the formless (unmanifested) Paramatma and easily drift towards end of life by practicing sadhana, is Sannyastashram. This ashram is to remove all the accumulated desires from one's conscience. These four phases of lifespan are called "Ashram system"
