Science and research have taught humanity time and again that asteroids crashing into the planet Earth pose an obvious danger to the various kind of existing life. However, scientific researchers have also speculated that such collisions may have brought life, while giving water and heavy metals to our planet! Meanwhile, in our solar system, it has been scientifically proved that there are many large bodies, gas giant and icy solids which have been formed by the various collisions triggered by asteroids. In fact, the collisions of asteroids have contributed enormously in the development of the solar system. For instance, Jupiter is thought to have formed just beyond the snow line and, with its powerful gravity, prevented material inside its orbit from fusing into planets. In addition to this, the fragmented rocks settled into an asteroid belt, at the snow line, between the orbits of Jupiter and Mars. On the other hand, scientists have put forward the fact that having the right kind of asteroid belt in a solar system could be essential to find intelligent life in the universe including here on Earth...
