I learned to think about these three questions before deciding to speak or say anything that could affect other people.(Is it true; is it necessary; Is it fair)Is it true that at-risk students are negatively affected by their "Entitled" teachers? Both personally & professionally, for me, the answer is yes.Is it necessary to write about an important topic happening to our kids at school? This book is needed because it sheds light on a subject/ topic that many educators know is a big problem in our school but chooses to ignore it because of the fear of losing their job or being labeled a troublemaker/ difficult to work with at their facility.Finally, is it okay to blow the whistle on practices that I have first-hand knowledge of because of my position? Yes, because it is not okay for the victims to be victimized by someone who was supposed to help develop them into becoming a better version of themselves. This book will give a voice to the voiceless while allowing them to tell their story to those who choose to listen. Will you decide to listen and learn how it feels to be an at-risk student dealing with "Entitled" teachers?

Gabriel Vargas Bernal (1915–2010) fue un destacado historietista mexicano, reconocido por su obra La Familia Burrón, una de las más representativas de la cultura popular mexicana. Nació el 5 de febrero de 1915 en Tulancingo, Hidalgo. Desde joven, mostró aptitudes para el dibujo, obteniendo en 1930 el segundo lugar en un concurso internacional de dibujo en Osaka, Japón. A los 17 años, comenzó a trabajar como ilustrador en el periódico Excélsior, donde llegó a ser jefe del Departamento de Dibujo .

En 1948, creó La Familia Burrón, una historieta que retrataba la vida cotidiana de los barrios populares de la Ciudad de México. La serie, que comenzó como El señor Burrón o Vida de perro, alcanzó gran popularidad, llegando a tener un tiraje semanal superior a los 500,000 ejemplares . A lo largo de su carrera, Vargas creó alrededor de 60 personajes, entre ellos Borola Tacuche y Don Regino Burrón.

Su obra dejó una huella profunda en la cultura mexicana, con frases y personajes que se integraron al lenguaje coloquial. Falleció el 25 de mayo de 2010 en la Ciudad de México, dejando un legado perdurable en el mundo del cómic y la caricatura
