In this book of mine "Awakening" I have thrown light on various subjects to awaken your mind and to have a happy and peaceful life. To believe is to perceive - either by senses or the soul. This distinction constitutes two classes - the sceptic and the believer, which though dependent on, may yet be incomprehensible to each other; but both being necessary to established the balance of thought, they are forced into existence and become the links and cross-links which make life's endless chain from thought to truth. It is a great thing to know the laws of physical nature and exercise control over it. But still greater is to know the laws which govern the human mind, and it is the greatest victory to conquer the mind which conquered the matter, so that he remains no more slave to the matter to conquer which he worked so hard, and thus avoid the greatest contradiction of life. - Dr. Surindar Singh Suri
