Alison Rose Greenberg es una escritora y guionista estadounidense nacida en Nueva York y criada en Knoxville. Estudió en la Universidad del Sur de California (USC), donde descubrió su pasión por la escritura de guiones. Tras una carrera en marketing, regresó a su primer amor: la escritura. Actualmente reside en Atlanta con sus dos hijos, dos gatos y un perro mal entrenado .

Su primera novela, Bad Luck Bridesmaid (2022), es una comedia romántica que explora las desventuras de una mujer que, tras múltiples fracasos en bodas ajenas, se enfrenta a su propia historia de amor. Su segundo libro, Maybe Once, Maybe Twice (2023), recibió elogios de Publishers Weekly y profundiza en las complejidades de las relaciones y las segundas oportunidades .
