I have often heard baseball referred to as a game of inches but, it is also a game of numbers. In no other sport do fans and writers discuss and analyze statistics as much as they do with baseball. There have been many books written about the Hall of Fame and the players who have been enshrined within its walls. Many of these books include biographical information about the player and their career along with a tally line of their final career statistics. What I have done is compiled all of the season by season statistics of each member of the Hall of Fame along with some of the categories in which they led the league and awards they won. I have also included the statistics of a few players that are worthy of induction into the Hall of Fame, some who are Hall of Fame probables, and lastly some players to continue to watch.
