And I discover that vulnerability and trust are more valuable than any currency, stock, or portfolio. I find an unlikely family that trusts and loves each other-a loud, wild, crazy, inappropriate family that drags me into their circle against my will and shows me what acceptance really feels like.

I find love.

The real question is surviving long enough to enjoy it, and being brave enough to let myself open up to it.
