Betrayed by the Plot (en Inglés) - Alexandra Hale

He'll give his life to protect her.

But what happens when the thing he's at risk of losing is his heart?

It started as a favor - protect the sister of an acquaintance and find out who has an unhealthy obsession with her.

Easy. Straightforward.

Except all I want to do from the moment I meet her is claim her.

Make her mine.

Kat Harrington might be a sweet children's book author by day, but at night she's known by a different name.

Sloane Daniels.

No one knows her alter ego as the bestselling author of romantic suspense novels.

Until now.

Someone has discovered Kat's secret, the one she's worked so hard to protect both for herself and the people she loves most.

What starts as an online campaign to sabotage and sully her name quickly takes an unexpected and dangerous turn.

Everyone's a suspect and without any solid leads, I'm forced to hide Kat away where no one will find her.

But now there's a new problem.

Having her in my space is tempting me in ways I wasn't prepared for and suddenly, the only one she needs protection from is me.

One night of passion turns into an insatiable need for the woman I've sworn to protect.

With lines crossed, and more questions than answers, it's a race against the clock.

A set up.

A betrayal.

And a plot twist no one saw coming...
