In fact, the Pexa-Vec is designed to multiply in and subsequently destroy cancer cells, while at the same time making the patients' own immune defence system attack cancer cells also. Basically, scientific researchers have tested the genetically-engineered virus in 30 terminally-ill liver cancer patients. As a result, the genetically-engineered virus has proved to prolong lives, kill tumours and inhibiting the growth of new ones. In addition to this, scientific analysts have brought up evidence showing that the Pexa-Vec treatment results in a reduction of tumour size while also decreasing blood flow to tumours. The Pexa-Vec has been engineered from the vaccinia virus, which has been used as a vaccine for decades, including in the eradication of smallpox...
