In 1996 Joyce Biselx Lettau, my wife of 62 years, decided to research her Biselx family history on the internet. To her surprise she located the Champex, Switzerland, Hotel du Glacier, owned by Biselxs. She wrote to find out if there was a connection with the Wisconsin Biselxs and to her surprise she got an e-mail from Eric Biselx, owner of the Hotel du Glacier, with the following message "We Are Cousins Third Degree." That was the beginning of an exchange of over 1000 e-mails between Switzerland and Santa Maria, California. Twenty years later I decided to put the family history in book form. I edited over 600 years of Biselx family history that was collected and compiled by Joyce Biselx Lettau and Eric Biselx. This booklet is in memory of all the time and hard work Joyce did, with Eric's assistance, putting the Swiss and Americans kinship connection together for other Biselx families to enjoy."WE Are Cousins Third Degree"... the story and history continues!!John H.
