When the Blood Moon is high in the night sky, an unknown force stalks the night.

For private detective Nick Gunn, and his partner Cindy Chen things have been a little slow, following the basic cheating spouses, and easy cases. But when a phone call comes in and requests Nick's presence at a crime scene where one of their own is the victim, all bets are off and it's all hands on deck.

A serial killer is stalking the streets and the victims are all hitting a little close to home. The Blood Avenger is staying one step ahead of everyone in the Homicide division, and the Feds and tempers are running hot.

Nick is left with no choice, but to ask for help from a face from the past he had hoped to never have to encounter again.
