Bobbie Ann Broadbent is a little science nerd. Bullied by her classmates she has a hard time fitting in. She takes solace in watching her pet ants through the glass of her homemade ant farm. It's the last thing her father made before he mysteriously disappeared. One tranquil night, an explosion of light in the sky draws Bobbie out and onto the banks of Caddo Lake, where she sees a man standing at the edge of the water. He looks astonishingly like her father.
