This is the first book in a series called "In One Guy's Life". While purposely avoiding simply capturing a chronological record of one's life, this book instead attempts to focus on the many different individual components, or chapters, that have influenced it, sometimes favorably and other times unfavorably. Submerging into the details enable a glimpse of the cause and effect relationships leading to different paths in the cross-roads of one's life. In this book, as well as two others in the series titled "Chapters Continue" and "Music, Poems & Lyrics", the author has attempted to identify, articulate, rationalize, evaluate, and judge his own life's experiences in such a way that others may find some benefit. These experiences may be relevant whether it involves similarities of common memories or interests, or even lessons that the reader may take away and perhaps avoid the same outcomes, follies or regrets. Perhaps it will trigger more personal and specific memories of one's own past or present for renewed consideration. Accordingly, it may even further motivate one to make amends for acts or transgressions of the past, convey warmth and appreciation for the "good times" remembered, or simply result in brief moments of memory induced euphoria. With the focus on the components versus chronology of the author's life, the book is structured to allow the reader to potentially jump forward to areas (chapters) of the most personal interest. However, one should not miss areas in other chapters where personal interest may also be enlightened. The only request is that you keep an open mind, search for similarities in your own life, learn where you can, course adjust where feasible, celebrate the good times and memories, and most of all ... enjoy!
