This place is nothing like I thought it would be. The darkness from my dream doesn't belong to the stunning harmony I find here between the ancients and nature. I think I'm safe. I want to relax, but when an encounter with one of the unmated leaves me feeling things I shouldn't be feeling, I'm thrown into confusion. My future was so clear before I met him, but now? I want to burn it all down.

Something's wrong with Sarah. She barely sleeps, she's too damned polite, and the way she stares into the darkness worries me. Restoring her memories was violent and painful. Of course she'd be a little off, but something in my gut tells me there's more to the way she's acting. She was afraid the island would break us, and I'm starting to think she might've been right.
