I have been writing poetry since the fifth grade ever since I got my first guitar and learned how to play it so naturally. In the eighth grade, I was given an assignment to write a children's story to present to the first grade of the private all girl's school that I attended in Towson, Maryland. I became hooked onto writing with the lifetime goal to be published. I continued to write poetry all through my years of high school, college and when I attended nursing school. In the year 2000, I started praying about getting published and recording my original songs. In 2008, I graduated from Harvest Time Bible College in Randallstown MD with a Bachelor's Degree in Theology with a certification as a Missionary. To be a published Christian writer is my new goal in writing.
