Teenagers, Taran andTommy are twins and have done everything together - mostly what Tommy wanted to do. Taran feels she has been Tommy's shadow long enough. She has grown up playing sports with her brother and his friends but that didn't make her love them. On the plane to Hawaii she meets Beau Briggs and a spark is lit within her. Is it possible to fall in love at first meeting? Her brother had fallen hard for Chantel, the Orchid heiress that he had met on a former visit to the islands. Once settled in, Taran, Tommy, Chantel and Beau enjoy the beach, swimming, snorkeling, boating, bicycling and dancing. All would be perfect for Taran if she didn't almost drown, crash on a bicycle ride, scrape her leg climbing through bushes, cut her arm on sharp coral and follow along instead of standing up for herself. Were all these accidents Beau's fault? Was he really a klutz or just trying to take care of her? How could she fall for a 'sport's nut' like her brother?
