Reseña del libro "Daniel Chapters 7-12 (en Inglés)"

The basic research presented in this book was first published in 2010 under the title Daniel Unsealed. A limited edition subsequently appeared under the title Lifting the Veil on the Book of Daniel. Revised editions under the original title, incorporating corrections and additional research, appeared in 2012, 2016, and 2020. The present book is a new publication, extensively rewritten and reorganized to represent the mature culmination of the author's biblical research into the Danielic prophecies.

For more than two thousand years, the time-specific prophecies in Daniel have resisted complete interpretation. Were they intended to remain sealed until history supplied the events needed to understand them?

Daniel Chapters 7-12 presents an ambitious and tightly constructed chronological rereading of Daniel's later visions. Its decisive historical key is the restoration of Jewish sovereignty over Jerusalem's Old City and the Temple Mount in June 1967-an event the author argues made Daniel's previously sealed chronology intelligible.

Dan Bruce identifies the prophecies' unusual time measures with recurring observances in Israel's sacred calendar: Passover nights for the 2,300 "evening-mornings" of Daniel 8, annual Feasts of Weeks for the "weeks" of Daniel 9, and the Great Days of the Feast of Tabernacles for the "days" of Daniel 12. From these markers emerges a continuous chronology extending from Alexander the Great through Roman, Byzantine, and Islamic dominion to the modern restoration of Jerusalem.

Detailed tables and charts make the calculations transparent and reproducible. Biblical language, Hebrew terminology, ancient chronology, and documented history are brought together in a sober, forensic argument that avoids prophetic sensationalism, claims no new revelation, and sets no dates for future events.

Clear, measured, and intellectually challenging, this book invites readers to test an original exposition for themselves. For students of biblical prophecy and readers interested in the relationship between Scripture and the modern history of Jerusalem, Daniel Chapters 7-12 substantially raises the standard of exactitude that any competing interpretation must meet.

"This outstanding exegesis is a book that has yet to be discovered by Jews and Christians alike. There are several authors who claim that their exposition deserves the title 'Unsealed.' This one is very likely to remain unsurpassed."-from a retired Wycliffe Bible translator
