DEAD MILES (en Inglés) - Elvin Vargas jr

Atlanta traffic. A dying woman. Two minutes later, the dead are running.

Marcus Reed is trapped in rush-hour traffic on Interstate 75 with his sixteen-year-old daughter, Emily, when a blood-covered woman in hospital scrubs collapses between the cars.

Then she gets back up.

Within minutes, the interstate becomes a killing ground. Emergency broadcasts fail. Hospitals are overwhelmed. The dead attack the living-and those who are bitten can turn almost immediately.

But these infected are different.

They are fast.

They remember.

And after dark, they become something far more dangerous.

Cut off from his wife, Laura, an emergency-room worker trapped somewhere in the collapsing Atlanta area, Marcus has only one goal: keep Emily alive long enough to find her.

Their journey north becomes a desperate fight through abandoned highways, ruined towns, failed evacuation points, frightened survivors, and hordes of infected who seem to retain fragments of the lives they once lived.

A dead bus driver remembers how to drive.

A mechanic remembers which key opens a locked door.

Others remember routes, routines, and places where people gather.

Soon Marcus realizes the outbreak is evolving faster than anyone expected-and the dead may not simply be wandering.

They may be hunting.

When emergency broadcasts begin drawing survivors toward supposedly secure evacuation zones, Marcus discovers something even more terrifying: the infected are following the signals too.

Someone-or something-is turning humanity’s own survival systems against them.

With every mile bringing new danger, Marcus must decide who he can trust, how far he is willing to go to protect his daughter, and whether the voice calling to him through the chaos still belongs to the woman he loves.

DEAD MILES is a fast-paced zombie survival thriller filled with relentless action, terrifying infected, family loyalty, impossible choices, and a horrifying new vision of what happens when the dead don’t forget.

The road to survival is long.

And every mile belongs to the dead.
