Local Dartmouth Private Investigator, Ryan Scott, finds himself embroiled between two feuding London criminal families; the Downeys and the Gambols. Gambol took over the Downey's patch following Ray Downey's arrest during an armed robbery in 1985. Now, in 2016, Neil Downey, the youngest of the Downey clan, sees his opportunity to prove to his domineering father that he is ready to become a major player when he embarks on a plan to frame the Gambols in order to dislodge them thus restoring the Downeys to their rightful position as the prominent criminal force in London.Neil hatches a plot to frame Derek Gambol in a supposed drugs shipment; this does not go quite according to plan, resulting in an innocent victim being clubbed to death during the setup.Scott finds himself working with local police to bring the perpetrators to justice.
