Driven by his passion for Monty's innocence, Rico recruits his best friend and private investigator, Aaron Gregory, and the two launch a search for the truth and the evidence that will gain the young man's freedom. Their quest to prove his innocence lead them to many potential suspects but also puts Perez and Gregory's life and all those around them in danger. Someone clearly wants the two dead and will go to unbelievable lengths to ensure their fate. But neither Perez nor Gregory are willing to let an innocent man go to jail and allow a madman to go unpunished. They will need every skill acquired in the Army to find the killer and ultimately will risk everything to free him.
