Digital Photography is unique among photography textbooks. Unlike other texts on the subject, Digital Photography combines technical lessons on using a digital camera and related technology with the creative and aesthetic concerns of producing beautiful images. The lessons are presented in a logical order and have been tested by the authors in their own classrooms. In the first section, students are introduced to the camera and its controls; then, to digital capture, editing and manipulating images, and digital output. The second part of the book teaches students how to make great images in the main genres of photography.
