What is a soul? Do we have one? What happens at death? Is this life all there is? These questions have been asked since time began, with varying answers. Dimensions-The First Journey attempts to answer some of them in a novel way, pun intended. This is a story about a human being called Rose and her life in the 20th century. It is also the story about a consciousness called OmB, who can be likened to the narrator of Rose's life. They are one and the same person. Throughout this novel, we become aware that it is OmB's journey we witness as a human incarnation. We gain a glimpse into the alternative ideas on various mysteries that perplex the human mind and help us come to terms with heart-breaking loss and the possibilities beyond these realms. The author intersperses reality with speculative fiction throughout, and the reader is left to ponder their own imagination and interpretations, to lead them some way to, perhaps, answer these age-old questions.
