Musical Thinking is a life management technique empowering you to be the person you want to be. It puts you in charge. You'll be able to direct your own life, the way you think it should go. Let me explain. One particular way of thinking is a mantra, (originally from Hinduism and Buddhism.) It is just a word or phrase, repeated to aid concentration and focus. You repeat the word or phrase out loud or to yourself, over and over. Now, if this word or phrase is combined with music, then it becomes a Musical Mantra, linking together additional parts of the brain, (the musical parts, including the cerebellum, hippocampus, motor cortex, nucleus accumbens, visual cortex and others). By adding melodic music notes and rhythm to your thinking, different parts of your brain interact and many neurons, dendrites and synapses are stimulated, fire and communicate. Your thinking determines your behavior and has a profound effect on what you pay attention to and remember. Your thoughts create your reality.
