Reseña del libro "Donkey. The Ocean's Guardian (en Inglés)"

Donkey: The Ocean's Guardian

Short Summary: Donkey: The Ocean's Guardian
A sweet donkey named Milo is the subject of the moving story "Donkey: The Ocean's Guardian." Milo lives with an old fisherman named Papa Arlen next to the water. Milo looks like any other donkey at first. He walks on the beach, carries baskets, and listens to the sounds. Milo does have a gift, though. He can really hear the ocean and tell when it's happy, sad, or hurt.
He wakes up one morning and sees that the beach has changed. It has dark, oily lines, broken nets, bottles, and plastic all over it. It's no longer peaceful to hear the ocean. It hurts and sounds weak. Milo soon hears a small cry and sees Luma, a sea turtle that is stuck in a plastic ring. Milo helps her and learns that many sea animals are in pain because of trash, poison, careless people, and fishing nets that get lost.
Milo goes with Luma to the Moonpool to live with the wise Coral Queen. Milo is picked by the ocean to be the Ocean's Guardian while the moon is full. On his scalp, a blue wave mark that glows shows up. He can understand sea creatures, go under the water, and guard the ocean world because of this mark.
Milo sees turtles, dolphins, seals, whales, fish, sea plants, and beautiful coral gardens. He sees trouble, though. The coral is dying, animals are getting stuck, and poison is getting into the water and hurting everyone. Milo finds out that Captain Grudge and Mr. Brindle are hurting the sea for their own gain.
He works hard to protect the ocean with the help of Papa Arlen, Sera, the Ocean Club, and many sea creatures. They teach people to care for nature, cleanup sites, and free animals that are stuck.
Kids and teens can learn from this story that small things can have big effects. Milo shows that being brave means wanting to help even when you're scared.
