This edited volume explores how teaching and learning activities impact knowledge transmission and acquisition through educational media. The three spotlighted areas are discourses and representations, social networks and teacher resources, and school subjects. Following IARTEM's (International Association for Research on Textbooks and Educational Media) long-standing tradition, the series, in general, and this volume, in particular, connect multiple disciplinary and interdisciplinary perspectives from eleven countries across the globe.
